Production Supervisors Production Supervisor/Manager Schedules all workflow Production meetings - daily (brief) Managing / supervising / leading press operators, bindery, and pre press digital copy department & ups & delivery system of all daily operations Hiring & recruiting of production positions Work / Review all complex jobs Paper Ordering Negotiating paper purchases with vendors Phone answering (filler as needed) Client follows up (5 per week in regards to jobs delivered) Duties: Assist Store Owners in the operation of day to day store business. Supervise personnel in assigned areas. Supply to the store operator a detailed inventory on the 1st of each month. Verify time cards on all employees and submit to Office Manager prior to payroll cutoff date. Receives and processes job assignments, obtains necessary supplies and works within allotted time for completion. Oversees packaging and processing jobs for delivery to customers. Prepares work schedules and assigns duties. Assists workers with problems and questions. Performs and makes recommendations for method development. Works in conjunction with owners to make store operations as efficient as necessary and reduce labor and material costs. Be timely, orderly, and disciplined as to show good example to other employees. Track job scheduling to see that day’s jobs have been completed, make necessary arrangements to meet any jobs behind deadline. Assign duties and schedule production work in conjunction with Lead Press Operator. Track type board to see that all type has been done and laid out, that customers have been called for proofing, make necessary arrangements to meet type deadlines. Organize and update job schedule as needed on a daily basis. Oversee CSR’s calculations and verify accuracy. Assist counter persons during ‘rush’ periods and lunches. Leave any notes necessary for opening Managers attention. Job Relationship: Workers supervised - Production Departments Supervised by General Manager/Owner/Operators
